The BBC reports:

Microsoft says the security hole can be shut by setting the browser's security zone to "high", although this limits functionality and blocks many websites.

However, German authorities say that even this would not make IE fully safe.

Site Transformation underway

It was April 2006 when the last major site change took place. I've been working on this one for a while off and on, mostly off. The new format will enable me to arrange articles the way I want them, that's the major reason that I haven't added new articles. We'll have a seprate FlavorWave Oven section to better assist you in finding articles related to the Flavor Wave. Also a Projects section and more.

Microwave Oven Death

So you're still using that fancy late 20th century time machine, the microwave oven. You like that it has the ability to transport your food to another dimension where time moves faster or at least it somehow bends time so that you can have your eaties cooked NOW!

I'm not as far off as you might think on this time travel thing.

Stay with me. You see, that microwave radio transmitter you have in you kitchen might not be changing time for your food, but it very well my be changing time...

Windows Hard Drive spin down time

I was trying to find a utility that would allow me to change my HD spin down time settings depending on the time of day. So that I don't have to listen to them when I'm sleeping. Didn't find anything. But I did notice that many people are having trouble finding how to set the HD spin down time or sleep time. So I'll offer my 2 pence.
